The Pritz Family
For generations the Pritz Family have dedicated their endeavors to the wellbeing of their guests.
Starting decades ago as a small guesthouse operated by Karl and Josefa Pritz, the business has grown to its current size and reputation after hand-over to their son Georg and his wife Anna. The hotel has been renovated several times, and the family and their team have always strived to serve their guests in a professional and empathetic way.
When taking over the reignsome years ago, son Martin and his wife Erika moved the family business into its fourth generation – also their two sons Georg and Karl are proactively helping to continue the Pritz philosophy.
Martin, not only as chef, but also as an expert in fish and game, has found a congenial partner in Erika, who looks forward to a bright future for their guests and family with great enthusiasm.
And what are the Seniors doing? The old »Bear« is happy to continue serving guests, though truly enjoys tending his garden or his golf handicap while Anna charmingly entertains guests either as a Nordic Walking guide or by sharing the secrets of Wachau wines at wine-tastings in the hotel‘s wine cellar.
The “Schwarzer Bär” always offers the compassionate personal attention of a family business.
